Alan Payne

In loving memory of my dad, Alan Payne This fund was set up to repay the hospice, in appreciation of the all the fundraising that made his care possible Alan Payne was born during the end of the second world war, and was one of the Brocket Hall babies! He had many interests, and was not afraid to stand up for what he believed in. Dad was fascinated about science and its advances, and the endless possibility of 'space' and the eternal question, what lies beyond our planet. We spoke about the fact that we are all made up of star matter, and that a piece of the universe helped create us... His care at the St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich at the end of his life was exceptional, and in recognition of all the fundraisers and fundraising that took place to make his care possible, David and I are hoping to raise £30,000 for the hospice during our life time, for dad's last 30 days before to 'travelling to infinity and beyond'.
